Ole Sander Brudvik

I’m Ole Sander, 27, and I’m a technologist, a designer and an economist. Right now I’m finishing Digital Design & Interactive Technologies at the IT University of Copenhagen. Before that I studied information science in Bergen, which is the properly technical kind of degree with machine learning and advanced Python in it. This portfolio has grown alongside all of it, ever since I first started studying design at the University of Bergen, and it is not finished yet. I got into design because I wanted the world to be a cooler and simpler place. Economics came from wanting things to run better, and logistics most of all. That is how I work: with the whole process at once, from the users and the design to the finance and the machinery underneath.

This summer I took on a design and brand project with Tinde Økonomi in Oslo. It is still running, and I learned Claude Code along the way. I build in React, Python and JavaScript and I design in Figma. I’m meticulous about both, because it has to be good and it has to be cool. The work I like most is when there is room to make something a little different from the norm that people feel good using. Good design can make an ordinary day better.

Off the clock I’m in the mountains in Norway or the Alps. Otherwise it is friends, travel and karaoke. I used to play football, handball and swim. Now I’m running instead, and Copenhagen makes it easy to run fast. I follow Brann and Manchester United and have a growing fondness for FC København. And I like good food, good baking and a good weissbier, preferably in good weather.
